In a stunner for the ages, evel Dick survives a live-eviction vote against Dustin, 4 to 2. Thanks to work on behalf of the evel one by Jessica and Eric, both Zach and Jen voted to evict the 22-year-old salesman from Chicago.
After America’s Player got his directive from us, he went to work on Jessica. And the both of them went to work on Jen and Zach. As recently as late Thursday afternoon, it looked like nothing concrete had been settled with those two, but as the votes went down, we knew.
Dustin’s reaction? Shock.
He blamed it in the interview on the schiesty Eric, although — c’mon — he’ll learn about the twist soon enough. This was truly a case of America deciding an eviction because without the directive to Eric, in my opinion, E.D. isn’t saved.
So all of us who enjoy watching the 44-year-old bar manager from L.A. in the Big Brother house, pop open a cold beverage and enjoy the HoH. I’ll post more about the competition and the new king or queen of the house in a few.
HoH Update:
The competition centered on the little guest from the other day, along with the quartet, the pirate and the barbershop quartet. It came down to Daniele and Amber, who had had a vision that she would win it this week.
However, not so fast. Daniele is your new HoH. Reaction to the eviction? To the new HoH?
Should Daniele keep to her word and work with Jess and Eric? Who should she nominate?

Whiney and Meany need to think very hard before they decide who to vote out. If Amber the cryer and Jameka go right now, they can all three sit in seclusion and discuss how much they hate Eric. That’s good for D&D, so it might be wise to get rid of them. If they put up Chatterbox Eric or Squeeky his partner right away, then they won’t have a chance of getting their votes and will leave Chatter and Squeeky in seclusion with Mr. Arrogance long enough to maybe weasel their way out of what they did. Frankly, I don’t think Zack or Jenn have enough intelligence combined to figure out which way to vote. So, just leave them alone. They’re irrelevant. I say, let the Leno-look-alike spend a few days crying her curly head off and let Jameka have some discussion with GodDawg and then send Amber home. Jameka’s got nothing for weeks, so she can sit in isolation and get good and mad at Eric and then feed fuel to the fire when she goes to seclusion.. They need to start thinking about how the votes will go and I think this is the only way they can get the votes.

I’ve been reading and wanted to finally provide my input.
As a person who believes in God and Jesus, I feel Jameka is making a mockery of Christianity. As much as I’d love to see her get her butt outta there… Amber is the most logical one to go next since she could win HoH and Jameka is disallowed to participate.
My favs for the final four are Jessica, Eric, Dick and Dani. I want Jessica to win it all; however, if D&D are smart when/if it is the Final Four with that grouping, they better take Jess out (unfortunately) or she is most likely a shoo in for winning it with the sequester house as it would be.
Luved tonight’s outcome!!!! I was a happy camper!

QUESTION: How in the HELL did Jessica even make it on this show – she has NO brain power – she is Eric’s puppet. I’m listening to her and Eric talking game strategy – she is CLUELESS and is YESSING everything Eric says. I have a feeling with her – what you see is what you get! I love Jessica. I think she has an amazing chance to win! She has aligned with the best players….she is flying under the radar for the most part…and she is amazing eye candy!! (which is more for me than for her winning the game!)

I think Dick is playing the game. I cannot judge him personally from seeing him on the game.
However, I do have to admit, watching some of the YouTube’s posted here….I get uneasy quickly listening and watching Evel Dick. I think he is playing dirty…but playing the game nonetheless.

It sure has kept me well informed as to what is going on in the house, I signed up for the live feeds last year and good lord I would find myself getting up in the middle of the night, to see what was going on since I was there last LOL. It’s been hard this season, but so far I have fought the temptation of signing up. Big Brother is unlike most reality shows in that while you have to play for yourself, you cannot go it alone. Jessica and Eric are clearly a team, so you bet she’s going to listen to him. And he will listen to her … Heck, I believe there’s a better than not chance that they hook up after the show is over.

There is a point in the game where the TONE should change….not sure if it is quite there yet….but I am guessing soon it will make sense. The fewer the players and depending on who has control of the house. Since Amber will go this week and Jameka cannot compete (she is not much a threat due to that) I would assume that after the Dustin eviction has run its course (day or 2) the tone may back off….
Or maybe Dick is who he is….and will play the “Dick” card the whole game! 🙂

Did you see the conversation Dick had with Amber and Jameka in the round room. He confirmed with them that his “outbursts” have been part of his strategy all along. He admitted that his goal was to make everyone hate him so bad they would vote him out instead of Danielle.
See this is a game and this is the way he plays. Quite frankly, I prefer the players that are up front and in your face than those like Dustin, Amber and Jameka how are smiles, God loves you and let’s be friends to your face and then place dagger after dagger in your back trying to turn everyone against you.

I am in complete agreement that Jameka and Amber need to get out of there.
Re their CONSTANT eating – it is disgusting both the quantity and the lack of manners – watching Jameka eat is like watching pigs at the trough. Amber is just as bad. And what is with Amber and that 1/2 skirt that forces all of us to see her butt – ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Perhaps neither of them can afford food at home.

After putting aside my anger at the fact that the Donatos are still in the house, I gave some thought to the requests being given to Eric by “viewers.” It is becoming painfully obvious that the results of these requests are being engineered by CBS to keep the ratings high. There is no way, that week after week, the viewers’ requests are so perfectly orchestrated to get the right people out of the house, keeping the trashy Donato family. In the outside world, these two would not be given entry to a Walmart, never mind homes of the viewers.
CBS needs them to keep activity in the house to keep people watching.
This is the first season I have ever watched this show and most of the viewing is the latenight Showtime feed where I think the real personalities of the people surface. What CBS shows in prime time is only what they want viewers to perceive. Watch the three hour late night feed and you will see what is really happening.
After last night’s engineered fiasco, I am not sure I will continue watching the programs. CBS obviously wants one of the Donatos to win, or at the very least, keep them until the end for ratings and then possibly dump them.
Having the America’s input thing is wrong. The show should progress based on the game playing skills of the people living in the house without outside intervention. That would make for a far more interesting show.
If I do continue watching this season, which right now is doubtful, I know for sure that if this program returns next year, I will not be one of the viewers. It is a total sham and an insult to the houseguests who think they are using their own skills to win the game.

Lisa it is Ghetto Land I used to live in virginia when my family and i went to visit washington d.c. we went through jameka’s part of maryland it was awful. Watching Jameka I can see why she is most likely ineffective in her job as a counsellor. And why her Christianity would be in question. A counsellor should be able to step back and analyze a situation and then react in a way pertinent to a solution, clearly Jammy the Hut is incapable of that. As far as being and behaving in a Christian way, she clearly should be trying to help Dick behave better and siding with him because of his honesty. While rude and vocal, he is just playing a game. I really don’t think that what you watch of these houseguests is truely how they “really are” outside the house, whether you watch the live feeds or just the tuesday, thursday, and saturday televised shows.
You have to realize that these people are playing a game where the prize is half a million dollars. That alone would probably cause the houseguests to alter their personalities. They are, for the most part, doing whatever they can to push themselves farther in the game. Whether that’s to play every single person in the game, or to just ride the coattails of someone else.
Who cares if Dick screams at Amber about being a terrible mother? It’s gotten him farther in the game hasn’t it? With the Daniele/Eric/Jessica alliance, plus the more likely than not vote with Zach, he has completely flipped the numbers in his favour!

Would it? They have done that the past seven seasons, and I would not count all those seasons to be interesting. You really need to understand that they have to come up with a new twist/concept each year otherwise the show would be completely redundant; something has to make this season stand out from the others. This year they just happened to decided on letting America have a say in what happens in the house. This should in no way be considered unfair — when and if the houseguests find out during the course of the game they will just have to deal with it.

Meaning, I don’t think this is the right point in the game to do it. Daniele (and Dick) should really, really think things though before making any final decision. Due to some luck and work they’ve both managed to stay in the game this week and have the power. I’m really afraid that they’ll make another mistake in backdooring Jen.
Jen, I realize, is playing both sides, but I really think that she is more prone to go along with Dick and Daniele. Whereas I think Eric and Jessica will only stay in this alliance with Dick and Daniele for the rest of the week. Although, to be fair, America controlls Eric, who in turn can pretty much convince Jessica of anything.
Still, I think it would be better, at this point in the game, to get rid of Jameka or Amber.
I think Daniele should nominate Jameka and Amber, hoping the Veto does not get used.

People’s class and morals are a part of their EVERYDAY lives and it goes hand in hand with what that person is – whether they are on their job or on Big Brother – you are what you are in all circumstances – ESPECIALLY if you’ve been there for a period of time. Jewels, Thanks for the comments. I do have to disagree somewhat. I think what you see is what you get. People don’t change their personalities overnight or over a period of a few weeks.
We all are who we are and I think the personalities we are seeing on BB are the personalities of the guests outside of the house.
No one can change that much, game or no game.
Amber is emotional and that shows on the show. Dick and Daniele, well, enough said about them. They are totally transparent.
Jamika is an African American woman thrust into a white world and is doing her best to survive.
Zach is dull and I am sure he is just as dull on the outside. Not critical, just an observation.
Jessica is a midwest girl, seems nice, but is young and vunerable.
Eric is basically a sleazy NY salesman who can sell the brass off a doorknob.
Jen, beautiful as she is, is a self centered West Coast girl. She is what she is.
Not knowing them on the outside, I would still stay that what you see is what you get. They probably are no different in the house than they are in the real world.
As long as Dick, his daughter, and Eric go, I really don’t care who wins.
The entire thing is being orchestrated by CBS for ratings anyway.

Lisa, no one is saying you can’t survive outside of one’s environment. If the girl was raise in a ghetto, that is not her fault. She is probably a victim of circumstance. I do not know her educational background, but I would have to give her credit for going to school and trying to better herself.
The chips are stacked against her in BB house. I don’t condone any of the behavior of the houseguests and I think my feelings about the Donatos have been well stated here. However, saying you can’t take the sista out of the ghetto or the ghetto out of the sista is racist.
Many Black Americans are victims of their environments through no fault of their own and I think Jameka is holding her own. She may not be the best player and her eating habits may not be the best and she had Eric backstabbing her at every turn, but she has been trying. She is confused right now and rightfully so. She and Amber have been sold down the river buy sleazy Eric. Even Dick appeared kind to her in his chat with her and Amber.
She and Amber are showing their human sides, whether we like it or not. Other guests have no human side, just a mean-spirited and sneaky side – game or no game.
Honestly, as I have stated, I really don’t care who wins at this point as long as it isn’t D and D and Eric.
I probably will see this season through, but can honestly say, will probably never watch it again in the future. This is the first and last time watching BB. I guess seeing human nature for what it really is has been a great disappointment. Seeing how the American viewers have reacted to the antics of D and D is also a major disappointment. Perhaps out of sight out of mind is the way to go.

We can continue commenting on these people until the cows come home. I am also trying to imagine what it is like being on cam 24/7. It must be terrible. However, losing one’s temper and having verbal outbursts is a natural result of being constantly bullied and Dick has done this, especially to the women on the show. He has attacked people about their religious beliefs, their parenting skills (which I think is a joke since he is certainly no model husband or parent) and in Dustin’s case, his sexuality. He has also assaulted Jen with the iced tea pouring incident. In the outside world, none of these things would be tolerated by anyone. His daughter is nothing more than a confused girl who is his puppet, total under Dick’s control no matter what she says. She is basically afraid of him, that is quite obvious.
Think about his treatment of women on the show. I would never disrespect my wife or other women that way, no matter what the circumstances. I do not understand how female viewers can respect him. Using playing the game as an excuse for his behavior is a cop out.
The women on this show are victims of Dick and I still don’t understand how CBS can allow this to continue.
Game playing is one thing, being downright cruel is another story.
He sure isn’t setting a good example for his son who I am sure is watching his behavior daily.

Wow, I feel as if many on the board have never watched this game in years past. All of the ED haters and the, “CBS is fixing the game” talk is so funny. First off I would like to remind everyone that the furthest thing from Reality is Reality TV. It has never been my reality to hang out for two months, drink, party in a hot tub and play a game with no responsibilities,,,,,,,well at least since I left college.
Let’s address ED, is he an an ass, yes,..brutal to all the players,…yes However he has survived to the final eight and if he holds his word and America doesn’t make Eric do something stupid he will make it to the final 4. Early on when most of the players showed that they would follow his lead he ran with it. Went overboard a little and America saved hime once.
If you don’t like his tactics tough, two of the most favorite players in the game were the biggest asses to ever be on TV but we loved Will and Mike.
As far as CBS rigging the show, yes they put elements in to spice it up I am sure but I will withhold judgement to see what America has Eric do over the next few weeks. Consistantly his task has been contrary to what he should be doing to win the game but he has pulled it off. I could easily see America forcing him to campaign against Jessica or Dick just to screw with the game. We shall see though we shall see.

I just read through several posts about Jameka. Jameka should be able to handle herself very well. She is a guidance counselor for goodness sakes. She needs to stop thrusting her “GOD” on everyone else. Religion means so many things to so many different people! It’s voo-doo! She really freaked me out the other night, she wasn’t acting at all christian like. I also feel from the posts, that everyone feels sorry for her being the only African American – she put being the only one out there right up front, and that she had to represent. I just want Jameka and Amber out! Eric is slimmy, but Jameka & Amber are sad. I’m from the same area of Maryland as Jameka, and all though I think it’s great someone made it on the show from Maryland, I’ve been really disappointed. I believe someone said she was a disappointment from her community on a post above – I completely agree! I’m sure she doesn’t do her “SISTA” thing at her job or her church – it’s sure not a representation of the our community either! Wow, I feel better!

Am i the only one who thinks that whamber looks like the cowardly lion? I tivo the shows and when the waterworks commence i just ff through it.As for Jameka black or white,it is blaphemy to prop up your god in one breath,and in the next call a woman of the cloth a bitch.Regardless of what ED does to her,if she is devout in her faith she should be at peace with any situation regardless of hers or anyone elses race.

As a long time BB fan I thoroughly enjoy reading this blog but don’t really have the time to do any posting and because I can’t subscribe to the feeds don’t have much to contribute in that respect. I have been, over these past few days, becoming more and more upset with the totally offensive comments being made here with respect to Jameka specifically and PG County generally. I also did a lot of research on Prince George’s County. Everything from the school system and how it stacks up nationally, to the crime rates compared to national averages, to the educational levels and incomes of county residents. I used a wide range of resources for this research, none of which are affiliated with the county itself. To cut to the chase, all of the statements being made here about PG County are inaccurate. Yes, it has it’s share of problems but nowhere near those found in other areas of the US.
That being said, even if my research did uncover that this was the poorest county or any of the other things this county was portrayed to be, it does not for a moment excuse the hateful remarks being repeatedly made here. This blog should not be a venue for anyone with an axe to grind and most especially should not be a forum where racist undertones permeate the posts. Comments such as “lives and crawls in PG County” and the “garbage” that lives there are purely hateful and totally unnecessary. Lisa, whatever your issues are with PG County, perhaps you should keep them to yourself and not find a way to inflict them on all who read this blog. There is enough hate in this world, We don’t need to keep seeing it here.
