Big Brother 27 — About Last Night and Today

Hi, everyone!

So, about last night!

It was the second eviction of the season and I don’t think it surprised anyone.  Adrian easily won the Blockbuster.  Will is not good at challenges and his poor performance last night served as more evidence that it was silly to nominate him over a stronger player.  For her part, Amy didn’t seem to even try.  Amy seemed to know that she was going home and last night, it almost seemed like she had given up.

It was a unanimous vote.  Not even Rachel voted to keep Amy.  Apparently, we’re back to “voting with the house.”  I have to admit that annoyed me a lot.  The houseguests seem to spend more time thinking about “shout outs” and what to say to Julie then they do when it comes to strategy.  Is anyone playing to win the game or are they playing for a chance to appear on the Challenge next year?  Who knows?

Amy, the Accomplice, was voted out.  I think Rachel was the only person who knew that Amy was the Accomplice.  It’ll be interesting to see if Rachel shares that information or if she keeps that secret to herself.  She could easily cause some havoc by accusing other players — like maybe Jimmy — of being the accomplice.  It’s been a while since we’ve had that type of ruthless gameplay on the show.

As for the new HoH, it’s Lauren.  I don’t know where Lauren’s head is at but last night, she and Vinny seemed to agree that it would be smart to target Keanu because that’s what the House wants.  Excuse me while I do a massive eye roll.  How about going after someone who is actually a threat to win the game?  Lauren says it’s too early to make waves.  If Lauren actually believes that, she should have thrown the HoH comp.

The nominations will be later today.  If this is another Keanu, Kelley, and a pawn on the block week, I’m going to scream.
