Big Brother 27 — Week Two Nominations

Hi, everyone!

After last night’s eviction, the houseguests competed to become HoH and three new powers were secretly unleashed into the game.

Mickey has the Takeover power.  Mickey can overthrow the HoH in secret but apparently, the power is voided if the HoH figures out who was behind the Takeover.  The power is good until jury selection begins.  So far, Mickey has told Morgan about her power.

Kelley won a chance to compete for a second power of veto.  So, if she’s on the block and she loses the veto comp, she can apparently compete a second time.  Kelley revealed the power to Jimmy.

Finally, Keanu’s power is that he can “double” his chance of winning the power of veto.

Those powers might come in handy for Keanu and Kelley because the HoH comp was won by Jimmy.  When the housguests first entered the house, Jimmy was determined to target Rachel.  That’s over with now.  Instead, he now says he wants to learn from Rachel how to be a great player.  After calling out Keanu at the week one veto ceremony, Jimmy made it clear who his target would be if he won HoH.

Jimmy just made his nominations about an hour ago.  Keanu, Kelley, and Adrian are all on the block.  Jimmy and Rachel were just talking and agreed that Keanu is the target this week and Kelley will be the target next week.  In other words, if you were hoping for a big Rachel/Jimmy rivalry this season, it doesn’t appear to be happening just yet.  Still, things could change.  Jimmy seems like a prime candidate to let being HoH go to his head and he enjoys creating drama.  (You can tell he’s just dreaming about being a returning player, like Rachel.)  If there’s any HoH who I can imagine alienating the entire house by attitude alone, it’s Jimmy.

We’ll see what happens with tomorrow’s veto!
