Hi, everyone.
This is shaping up to be a weird week. Ava is HoH. She nominated Zach, Keanu, and Vince for eviction. For once, Kelley was not put on the block. After she made her nominations, Ava indicated to Will and Mickey that she would be willing to backdoor Morgan if the veto was used.
The veto comp was played on Saturday. The players were Zach, Keanu, Vince, Will, Katherine, and Ava. It was apparently one of those competitions where everyone won a prize and they could steal a prize from someone else if they chose to. This means that some people won money, some people won a trip, and someone had to wear a stupid costume.
Ava ended up with $5,000.
Will ended up with a London trip.
Zach ended up tethered to Rachel for two days.
Keanu had to wear a butler costume.
Vince had to wear an extremely stupid hard-boiled egg costume. Vince was already ticked off over being on the block so having to wear a costume did not help.
The veto was won by Katherine.
Katherine, realizing that Rylie could go up as a replacement, chose not to use the veto.
Zach had the ability to veto his own nomination. If he had done so, he would have lost the $10,000 that he won earlier but he would also be off the block. So, what did Zach do?
NOTHING!
Seriously, Zach had the chance to save himself and he didn’t take it. He’s pretty confident that he’s not going home so he decided to keep the money. Even though Rachel told Zach that “someone” (Mickey) was campaigning against him, Zach did not use his veto. Maybe he thinks he’s going to win the blockbuster. Maybe he thinks Vince or Keanu is a bigger target. But, for whatever reason, Zach has basically volunteered to stay on the block and put his entire game at risk.
UNBELIEVABLE!
Seriously, are these people playing the game or not? This is pathetic. If you’re in the House to win, you don’t do something stupid like stay on the block when you don’t have to.
Meanwhile, Rachel is mad because she figured out that Morgan’s the one that’s been saying that Rachel should be the first member of the jury. This led to a confrontation between Rachel and Morgan, in which Rachel declared that she was a “legend” and people better respect her name.
Here’s the thing, though …. Rachel is not playing this game like a legend. Everyone she allies with gets voted out. Practically the entire house is planning on voting her out as soon as jury begins. There’s nothing really strategic about Rachel’s game this season. Watching her, it’s easy to see that she really needs someone like Brendon who can get her to focus.
It’s a mess. We’ll see what happens. Zach might very much regret not using his veto power but, then again, Vince is being so whiny that the target on his back is getting bigger and bigger. This is yet another week where everyone seems to be thinking about getting out a bigger threat than anyone on the block. But if Ava and Rachel and everyone else really thinks that Morgan can’t be trusted, why didn’t they nominate her to begin with?

The house is full of whiny babies , seriously these people need to grow up and realize they’re in the house to play a game!
I do not want Keanu leave, I don’t care if it was Vince or Zach, BYE!!! I really want for Keanu to stay to see if he can get HOH to make a real move.
Thank you Lisa Marie – your updates are much appreciated —–I want Keanu to WIN !! they definitely have to get Rachel out ASAP !!
